Dawson gained his bachelor of Medicine in Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina (Chinese massage) from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009. After graduation he worked as acupuncturist in South Korea for one and a half year specializing in cosmetic acupuncture; since 2012, he moved Auckland to start his private acupuncture practice.

Dawson specializes in treating common problems by using acupuncture combined with techniques such as moxa, cupping, ear acupuncture and foot reflexology. He is good at treating common injuries; he can also help with diseases or disorders such as such as weight management, asthma and cough, sinusitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), women’s health, insomnia, incontinence etc.

Dawson’s goals are to bring his knowledge to educate people to live a pain free and comfortable life.

Jay Jing

Jay completed a combined bachelor and master degree in Acupuncture from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). Before coming to New Zealand he has completed his two years’ residency training from Guang’An Men Hospital (teaching hospital of BUCM); he has taught and practiced acupuncture in Auckland for five years. He used to do lecture and clinical supervisor at the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine from 2011 to 2015. He moved to Dunedin to start private practice since February 2016.
Jay now is studying Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor Surgery at the Otago Medical School.

Chenlin Emily Ye

Acupuncturist / Chinese Medicine Practitioner / ACC provider

Emily has completed a combined bachelor and master degree in Acupuncture and Tuina (Chinese style massage) from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in China. Before coming to New Zealand, she worked as a Chinese Medicine doctor in a tertiary hospital for 5 years. Since 2017, she has moved to Christchurch to practice acupuncture and massage. As a beneficiary of acupuncture treatment, Emily devoted herself enthusiastically to acupuncture, massage and Chinese herbal medicine. She holds a strong belief acupuncture can help people to get the balance of Qi (the most important energy of your body). Emily is always a good listener and uses her knowledge and skills to help you living without illness.

Huijuan Tan (Jo)

Huijuan holds a master degree in Acupuncture, and a bachelor degree in Chinese Medicine from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM). She is a registered Chinese medicine doctor in China with clinical experience of 5 years. She  has special interest in managing common injuries, musculoskeletal pain, and common health disorders like insomnia, chronic fatigue syndrome, gastro-intestinal problems, etc.
Huijuan is currently a PhD student at the physiotherapy department, University of Otago. She is keen to relieve people’s health problem and help people to improve quality of life by using natural methods.

Yue (Yuki) Che
Massage therapist

Diploma in Health Sciences (Therapeutic Massage)

Yue graduated from New Zealand College of Massage; she is very good with Massage Techniques including Traditional Chinese Tuina, Foot reflexology, Swedish / Deep Tissue massage, Hot Stone massage and relaxation massage.  She can also do cupping and moving cupping therapy. She has been working for more than 6 years’ experience as a massage therapist. Before moving to New Zealand, Yue worked as a registered nurse in a tertiary hospital in Beijing for about ten years.
